Call for the 30 year anniversary team

ELSA International is celebrating its 30 year anniversary

The 30th Anniversary of ELSA is approaching quickly and will be celebrated next year. We are very excited about this and are looking forward to the year 2011. ELSA Poznan was elected as the Host of the Anniversary International Council Meeting in spring 2011 and the Organizing Committee is already working hard in order to arrange the best ICM which will demonstrate the achievements of ELSA in the 30 years of its existence!

At the same time the International Board of ELSA is expecting that this important occasion will be widely celebrated by all the Local and National Groups all around the ELSA Network. All together we can plan and organize a lot of events: conferences, seminars, competitions, moot courts and other projects dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of ELSA throughout the year 2011!

Therefore we will need a good coordination of all these events in order to get the best possible benefits for ELSA and its image in Europe and in the world. We are convinced that the 30th Anniversary of our Association is the greatest cause for promotion and exposure of our achievements as a Network of 30,000 law students and young lawyers.

For this purpose the International Board 2009/2010 announces the Call for the "ELSA 30th Anniversary Team"! It will involve active ELSA and ELS members to unite efforts in coordination and ensuring the success of the Anniversary year. It is planned that the "ELSA 30th Anniversary Team" will have members working in the following areas:

• Marketing, including team members responsible for Corporate Identity & Marketing Materials and team members responsible for exposure and PR
• Events, including team members responsible for coordination of the anniversary events around the Network and team members responsible for ELS and Alumni involvement
• Fundraising, including team members responsible for grants applications, sponsorship approaches and good will partnerships.

We will also appoint the main coordinator for the Anniversary who will be the overall responsible for the functioning of the team and assist the International Board 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 in the activities. The planned beginning of the work of the team is scheduled for the start of the term in office of the International Board 2010/2011 and the work plan has to be prepared by the team members by then. We need to unite the efforts of many dedicated ELSA and ELS members as the project should be running till early 2012 when the final results and follow-up after the Anniversary year should take place.
